Consignment - How does it work? Customers bring us their gently used baby, kids and maternity items to be sold on their behalf. Upsy Daisy inspects every item to make sure that they meet our standards for quality, and that the items are truly like-new. Brand name items are always in demand, but we take all brands that are in season and up to our standards. Items are entered into our computer and given a barcode that links to the consignor's account. Then their items are sold, we split the money with them. Shoppers get quality, brand-name items for a fraction of retail price. Consignors make money on the items their kids have outgrown. To consign with us, give the store a call or email to arrange an appointment to drop off your items. We accept clothes for each season a few months before the season begins. For example, we will take Spring clothes in February, and Summer in April. Larger items like cribs and strollers are limited by floor space. Bring in your items freshly laundered, clean, and free of spots, wear, and stains. They should be folded in a paper sack, or a box or tub. Toys should be in working order and include batteries. Upsy Daisy will display your approved items and split the money with you. You can get paid by check or in store credit anytime. You can pick up unsold items, or arrange for us to donate them to one of the local charities we regularly contribute to. If you have any questions, please stop by or email.
